CORINA HOSER



Dancer, Co-founder, Company Management



Corina Hoser, born in Upper Austria, studied contemporary dance education at the Music and Art University of the City of Vienna, contemporary stage dance at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz, and at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon. She gained extensive stage experience in pieces by international choreographers and practiced creating her own works. After completing her studies, she also spent a few months as an intern in several dance companies in Prague. In addition, she constantly expands her dance skills and artistic diversity through workshops and master classes in numerous different styles and practices, with various dance artists. Besides the everyday training in contemporary dance and ballet she is pursuing regular intense acrobatics training and breaking practice, as well as point work. But she is also very passionate about different theoretical discourses about dance, dance/training sciences, anatomy and physiology as well as divers other scientific discourses like Astrophysics and Cosmology. Since 2020 she is working as a freelance dancer and dance educator. In summer 2020 she was a dancer in the production “Cube Studies 1” with the Circa Contemporary Circus Company at the La Strada Festival Graz, in October 2020 the performances of the project "You don’t fit the Profile", a dance piece for 5 people, for public spaces, that she co-created with Joni Österlund and as well danced in, took place at various locations in the Margareten district of Vienna. Furthermore, she had numerous Residencies and only recently, in July and August 2021 she was part of the Step Up Dance Project in Limerick, Ireland and worked with Polish choreographer Lucyna Zwolinska and Irish choreographer David Bolger, followed by performances of both their pieces in different cities in Ireland. In September 2022 she was semi-finalist of the Brussels Contemporary Dance Contest



HANNAH ZAUNER



Dancer, Co-founder, Company Management



Hannah Zauner, born in Austria, is a dancer and performer. She received her education in various contexts and institutions. Currently, she studies at PERA - School of Performing Arts (since September 2021). 2019/2020 she studied Contemporary Dance and Choreography at La Faktoria (Pamplona) under the direction of Marta Coronado, Laida Aldaz and Carmen Larraz. 2018/19 she finished her contemporary dance education in Berlin (Bildungsjahr Tanz Seneca). She is interested in psychology and how individuals perceive and reason their world in various contexts. She seeks for an exchange with other artists and clowns. She (re)searches multiple life realities and perspectives by taking up contents of her Anthropology studies at University of Vienna. She choreographed pieces by herself, together with Kollektiv KLAUS and other artists. HANNAH MARIA WIMMER



Dancer, Co-founder



Hannah Maria Wimmer is a contemporary dancer and choreographer originally from Austria. She started her professional dance education at the European Ballet conservatory in St.Pölten, Austria and continued her studies with a focus on contemporary dance in New York. While studying there she has enjoyed dancing and working with many different choreographers in various projects. She was an apprentice dancer with Cross Move lab (Guanglei Hui ) in 2018 and danced for QBC (Queens Ballet Company) under Tsai-Hsi Hung in 2019. Since moving back to Europe in July 2019, Hannah has been participating in many well known Dance festivals and performed with RIVA on the Fraoe Islands and Circa Contemporary Circus at Opera Graz among others. In summer 2019 she staged and choreographed her first full length dance performance called rosarot in her birth town Gmunden. She has had performances of her own choreographies in Oslo and Vienna.



Flóra Boros



Dancer



Flóra Boros is a Hungarian dancer and choreographer based in Vienna. She completed her double studies in contemporary dance at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna and economics at the University of Vienna. For her bachelor thesis in contemporary dance she received a scholarship fund from the cultural department of the city of Vienna (ma7). She has worked with artists such as Doris Uhlich, Esther Balfe, Matan Levkowich, Saint Genet Dance Company, Jasmin Avissar, Manfred Aichinger, Virginie Roy, Lucia Rosenfeld. Paradox, her co-choreographed duet with Jeanne Lakits was performed at Tanzwerkstatt Europa, Raw Matters and Kultursommer Vienna. In her current artistic work she is researching how game theory, which is an economic model, can be used in contemporary dance. Her new solo performance Cindy received several residencies including D.iD residency mentored by Liz King, Tender Steps residency mentored by Costas Kekis, Huggy Bears Art Place, as well as a scholarship to ATLAS 20222 at Impulstanz, where she receives dramaturgical support from Guy Cools.



NIKOLINE FLAATA



Dancer



Nikoline Flaata is a professional contemporary dancer from Oslo, Norway, born in 1997. From 2017-2020 she took her BA in the University of Stavanger, Norway, and exchanged in 2020 at MUK -Musik und Kunst Universität der Stadt Wien. Since 2021 she’s had her base in Vienna, exploring and establishing herself in the freelance field. During her studies, Nikoline has worked in collaborative creations together with international choreographers such as Doris Uhlich, Esther Balfe, Hagit Yakira and Carlos Pons Guerra. During her time in Vienna she has participated in opera productions with Theatre an der Wien and Wiener Festwochen, as well as substituting dance classes for Doris Uhlich, observing and participating in rehearsals with dance company Liquid Loft. With experience from working five years besides her studies in the health and care service, Nikoline has developed an interest for interpersonal relations. She now works on incorporating this interest into her art. In her own creations, Nikoline is exploring how to make her movement vocabulary accessible to the viewers, by working with touch, symbolism and humor. During 2021 she has together with dancer Adela Maharani, created the duet «Inside the (sound)scape». This duet has taken form as a short film, live performance in Norway and most recently as a part of MOSAIQUE #1 with Das.Lot in Viennn



MARCIN DENKIEVIC



Dancer, Co-founder



Marcin Denkiewicz was born in 1995 in Warsaw, Poland. His artistic career began at the age of 11 in Roma Musical Theater as an actor, dancer, vocalist, and acrobat. In 2016 he worked as an acrobatic trainer in a trampoline park Hangar646. From 2017 on he performs as a member of Body Architects Company in the piece “B-Team” at international festivals and residencies. In 2019 he finished his education at Anton Bruckner University and achieved a Bachelor's degree in Contemporary Dance and Pedagogy. While studying, he remained active on stage performing at Landestheater Linz. After finishing his education he worked as a freelance dancer and choreographer. With his piece “Retrospection” he was invited to perform at Beta Publica Choreographic Showcase in Madrid and Pocket Dance Festival in Thessaloniki. Besides performing Marcin is teaching contemporary dance workshops with the main focus on partnering techniques. For a few years he started to work as a model for polish photographer Rafał Bojar during his photographic workshops. Occasionally he is also invited to collaborate with other photographers and videographers. Recently Marcin worked as a dancer in Volksoper Vienna, Salzburger Festspiele, Theater an der Wien, and a stuntman in Staatsoper Vienna.



NIKOLA MAJTANOVA



Dancer, Co-founder



Born in Slovakia in 1996, Nikola studied at the dance conservatory J.L. Bellu in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, and later at Anton Bruckner University where she achieved her Bachelor of Arts (contemporary dance - performance and pedagogy). Her professional experience started in Slovakia with choreographer Zuzana Burianova and while studying at university, she worked in two productions choreographed by Chris Comtesse in Landestheater Linz. After graduation, she continued to work on different projects as a freelance dancer. She worked with LajaMartin Company on dance performance and a dance film, with Caro Dance Theater touring Poland and South Korea and had short projects with choreographers such as Darrel Toulon, Marce Lopez, and long term projects with visual artist Tomas Moravansky and dancer and choreographer Marion Sparber. Recently, Nikola was a guest dancer in Theater an der Wien choreographed by Nicolas Paul and in Staatsoper Wien production choreographed by Paul Blackman. Besides dancing Nikola was working as a dance teacher in Eltern-Kind-Zentrum Sonnenschein, VHS - Die Wiener Volkshochschulen, Unicorn Art Dance Studio, Move On Dance Center, "DASS" Dance Academy Russia, and gave a masterclass during Beta Publica Choreographic Showcase. Nikola also does her own artistic work. She created a duet performance "Bitter Desire" that won the choreographic prize Isolde Klietman Tanzconcours and was presented during Tanzhafen Festival and Lange Nacht der Bühnen Festival. Her second duet performance called "Retrospection" was presented at Dance festivals in Spain and Greece and later recreated into a dance film.



JONI ÖSTERLUND



Dancer, Co-founder



Joni Österlund, who was born in the Finnish town Pori, is a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. He began his dance education in the „Finnish National Opera Ballet School“ in Helsinki, where he worked with well-known choreographers like Jorma Uotinen (Black Water), Kenneth Greve (Snow Queen) and Mats Ek (Swan Lake). During his numerous visits to Salzburg, where he was taught by Peter Breuer and Ildiko Pongor, he was offered a spot in the Hungarian Dance Academy in Budapest, where he finished his Bachelor in Classical Ballet and danced, among others, in pieces by Tamàs Juronics (Zauberflöte), Guyla Harangozó (Plaltzkonzert) and Seregi Làszló (Sylvia, Faust). From 2016-2019 he danced in the Eger Dance Company for Gàrdonyi Géza Theatre and with Tamás Topolászky. Since 2019 he lives and works as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher in Vienna, both in the official structure of the theatre and the free scene. He is interested in Biosegrity and the emotional competences of the psyche. Depth Psychology, Nature, Community and Characterwork are his main interests.
